Kim Pecina Spotlight

Kim Pecina is a Sr. Human Capital Consultant with a PE-backed Ag Tech firm. Her prior role was the head of Global Benefits for Haleon (which was formed in 2019 by merging the consumer healthcare divisions of Pfizer and GSK and spinning off from GSK in 2022). In her role, she supported 25,000 employees in 55 markets. With a team of nine, she was responsible for strategy and governance globally as well as US Benefits Operations. Prior to that, she spent a decade at Pfizer in a number of roles, from M&A lead to HR business partner.
Moving from Pfizer to GSK, she realized that she would lose some of her New York connections and would need to expand her network. Her Pfizer colleague David Binder introduced her to PSC, and she quickly joined the membership committee.
Kim loves to coach and mentor through change. She enjoys the opportunities PSC provides to meet different people. She likes to hear their stories and is a closet recruiter and connector.
She is also the mother of three daughters who at this point are all ‘grown and flown’.
She recommends the book “Let Them” - a self-help book that helped her deal with a difficult conversation. She is also a fan of the Acquired podcast (https://www.acquired.fm).
